Tom Ford Beauty Haul; Traceless Foundation and Primer

I recently went into Harrods after the London Fashion Weekend event and tried out some Tom Ford Cosmetic products which I also purchased.

Usually Harrods don't gift wrap unless you specify. Although for the price you pay for these cosmetics, it's not a surprise that they do it anyways.

The two products I purchased were the Primer and Traceless liquid foundation. The packaging is very fancy in gold and quite bulky, although I don't mind this as all my previous foundations are quite bulky and in glass packaging. (Chanel's Matt Lumiere, Vitalumiere and Perfection Lumiere all in heavy bottles).

The foundation I got was colour matched to my skin and it has SPF15 which is great. Although SPF isn't usually suitable for photographs, this one I was told, has no problems being photographed with and you can see this below.

The inside is very bulky, but it is very pretty at the same time! The pump is great and I honestly wouldn't expect anything less again. The pump can be controlled really well with half pumps and even quarter pumps. One pump can usually do my entire face and just onto the neck.

The foundation is quite liquidy and great for dry skin to give a dewy and radiance look. Also the bottle looks quite matt, the foundation isn't very matt, although you can powder it to give it that look. I don't think this foundation would be very suitable for oily skin and I think that's where the Traceless Foundation Stick comes into being more suitable.

The foundation has a subtle, but very nice and floral scent. It smells luxurious and I haven't yet come across a dupe. This particular foundation was developed with dermatologists and heavily researched into. As you can see when I begin to rub the foundation into my skin, it has a glowy look and eventually seamlessly blends into the skin. The foundation should last all day if you powder!

I also purchased the primer which was 52 pounds.
This primer can go under the foundation and eliminates the use of creams and moisturisers. It pretty much hydrates the skin and then makes it appear radiant, so that when you put any foundation over the over it can look dewy (even matt foundations). It feels light and not oily in the slightest, this was also developed with dermatologists.

The packaging is very luxurious and has a twist top with a pump, as you can see above. I personally think the twist top is unnecessary because it is just an extra feature and sometimes when I twist it to close it, it squirts extra product out (wasting). I usually need 1 and a half pumps for my face.

There is 1 ounce of product in the tube, but a little does go a long way and one pumps squeezes out a pea sized amount as you can see above.

When it goes into the skin, it creates a beautiful even texture to the skin and a nice shine and layer for the foundation to go onto.
