The diversity photo shoot came around very quickly! I was very excited, because suddenly the weeks of work was going to hopefully pay off. The dress I made was of a Japanese technique called Otoshiana, which has drop holes. Wearing it is my muse Lin who is 66 years old and young as ever!

I had thought about styling with Lin and the accessories (crown hairband, tassels on the dress and shoes) were all from India. The earrings, printed tights and cuffs were Lins' and the rings were my tutors. Everything was very pink and silver! I think the mood of the shoot was great because she was so happy and enthusiastic throughout the whole shoot and really loved the dress!
The hair inspiration was a big afro with curls and lots of volume. Although Lin was worried she wouldn't have enough hair, that certainly wasn't the case!
The makeup on Lin was inspired by Linda Rodin with bright pink lips and subtle brows and Lin also wore her glasses that matches hair as well.

The back drop being cut so it is new
The shoot was great, there were some great photographers and the photographer was great to work with as well.
Overall all the work I have put into this project and competition has been worth it. Now I hope that I get chosen in the final 3 from my college to enter the competition! Fingers crossed
